Integrative psychotherapy

Integrative psychotherapy encompasses the practical approach of psychology, affirming the value of each individual person.

It is a unifying psychotherapy that aims to appropriately and effectively address emotions at the behavioral, cognitive, and physiological levels of functioning, as well as the spiritual dimension of life.

It offers a new, broad vision for psychotherapeutic treatment. Starting from a systematic view of the person, based on the body-mind-spirit concept, the integrative approach provides a unified understanding of the complexity of the human being, encompassing the full functionality of their manifestations. This allows for the assessment and holistic treatment of the patient at every level.

Maintaining the vision of the whole while respecting the uniqueness of the individual within the universal context.

The founder of the Institute of Integrative Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics in Bulgaria is Mrs. Svetla Bankova.
