Self-help psychological groups

If you are facing a serious illness or a stressful situation in your life, you don't have to go through it alone. Support and self-help groups can help you. Support groups bring together people who have experienced similar challenges or are currently going through them. For example, these common experiences may include severe or chronic illnesses, mental health conditions, the loss of a loved one, life difficulties, or caregiving responsibilities.

Sharing and discussing common themes that connect participants will show that you are not alone. We will work together on existing issues to help each of you find your own resources for a healthy and fulfilling way to navigate shared challenges. And last but not least, you'll have the opportunity to make new friends.

Each group will consist of 5 to 8 people. Each individual group will establish its own norms and rules, which will be discussed during our first meeting. We will set a schedule for meetings, which will be held once a week at a specific time, with a total duration of 2 hours. In a calm and welcoming environment, each participant will have the opportunity to:

  • To share openly and be heard
  • To not be judged or criticized
  • To feel that they are not alone
  • To be motivated
  • To feel more confident and stronger
