Psychosomatic disorder
The causes of psychosomatic diseases lie in the human psyche.
They result from the interaction between psychological and physical factors. People experience emotions both in the mind and the body. Every emotional expression (fear, anger, guilt, joy) triggers a physical reaction, such as muscle tension, hormone release, changes in breathing rate, and heartbeat. Sometimes the body struggles to process emotional stress. Emotional stress can be caused by conflicts, suffering, feelings of aggression, or fears that are often hidden in the unconscious, and we may not realize their destructive impact. When strong and prolonged emotions are not expressed in some way—through sharing in conversation, crying, shouting, or outbursts of anger—they become suppressed and accumulate in the body. Metaphorically, it can be said that psychosomatic illnesses are an expression of the soul's pain, which, having gone unheard and misunderstood, as a last resort signals through illness or chronic pain.
Often, there is no medical explanation for the symptoms – there is pain, but no evidence of illness. The symptoms emerge when a person reaches their physical and emotional limit.
Type 2 diabetes, Rheumatoid arthritis, Hyperthyroidism, Migraine, Chronic pain, Irritable bowel syndrome, Stomach ulcer, Bronchial asthma, Atopic dermatitis, Headache, Hypertension, Ischemic heart disease, Ulcerative colitis...
Recently, research on psychosomatic disorders has gained particular significance. A large number of people, regardless of gender and age, suffer from conditions affecting the skin, stomach and intestinal tract, endocrine disorders, and other diseases.
To recover, you will need to take medications prescribed by specialists, but you also need to learn not only how to withstand life's difficulties but also how to use an active strategy to overcome them.
Psychotherapeutic treatment is aimed at resolving internal conflicts. In some cases, different methods are used, such as hypnosis and hypnotherapy, body-oriented therapy, and breathing exercises.
